High-Level Project Summary
The SPACE JOURNEY group grew out of a problem exposed by NASA, which exposed the fact that stars above are constantly changing, but often these changes are too slow or too faint for the eye to see. So, develop a learning tool to teach people about stellar variability and help them understand how dynamic the night sky really is. To this end, the group was supported by NASA SPACE APPS advisors. Thus, a board game was carried out, with the objective of helping in a playful and intuitive way the children's learning about stellar variability and its importance. Thus, the new generation will understand the importance of the stars and how their mobility works.

Detailed Project Description
SPACE JOURNEY is a board game, which has two maps one navigation with houses to facilitate the location and inside some of these houses a symbol of a question mark. If the user stops at these houses that have the question mark, he will have to pull a celestial card, this card will have information on the star represented on the card and an action that must be performed by the user. This action will be indicated by the celestial chart, but the celestial map will also be used with the representation of these stars for the user to locate himself.
Game Story: You are exploring the seas and use the stars to locate yourself! Through this experience, you will understand the importance of stars and stellar variability, understanding how dynamic the night sky really is!
Game mechanics:
A quadrant board and a world map in the background;
The objective of the round will be defined by a deck of cards (each objective corresponds to a place in the world to reach);
Each objective will have a deck of cards that will give tips on how to reach the objective of the round;
The user will roll a dice, which will define the number of houses he will walk;
There will be quadrants of questions that will be the challenges - if you fall into them, you will have to draw a card;
The cards can be positive (help them to get to the place that is the objective) or negative (which will delay their arrival at the objective);
In the cards, they will contain information about the stellar variability of some star, constellation or galaxy;
There will be a star map corresponding to the sky of the world map, where the user will be able to understand even more about the positions of the stars and their importance for geolocation.
Game elements:
Board
character pins
Given away
Round objective cards
Letters about the constellations, stars and galaxies
Map of constellations, stars and galaxies
Game rules:
Fulfill the commands guided by the cards;
view the challenge only when you are sure;
if you visualize the challenge and don't get it right, the game is over;
follow the data;
in the MVP 3 players, but in the official 8 ie 3 to 8 participants;
The object of the game is to get to the challenge location first.
With this, we hope that the children's audience understands the importance of the stars, the stellar variability in a playful and intuitive way.

Hackathon Journey
Our hacktoon experience with Nasa Space apps was amazing, we learned a lot about a universe that we didn't know much about, we networked and also made friends. In addition, we learned about entrepreneurship, stellar variability, autonomy and teamwork. We used to develop this project as an educational language of children's games and a design thinking methodology presented during the hacktoon. The team handled the challenges very well, talking, keeping calm, doing one activity at a time and each member helping each other.
References
Canva: The team chose to continue building the layout of the slides and dossier in Canva, as the visual identity of the project, the boards and the game cards. Its use was adopted, mainly, because all the members know how to use this tool with ease.
Google: Google Drive was used to store documents, important photos and research. We also used Google Docs to draft the delivery and individual surveys, which were used in the technical and theoretical framework. These two tools were chosen because they are collaborative and easy to access.
Powtoon: It was used to perform the 30-second pitch that will be submitted to the platform.
