THE NASA SPACE APPS CHALLENGE LANDS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN AJMER, RAJASTHAN!
We are proud to host the NASA Space Apps Challenge in Ajmer! This is part of a coordinated event for the entire state of Rajasthan. Our sister locations are Jaipur, Bhilwara, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Kota, and Alwar.
No matter whether you are a coder, scientist, designer, entrepreneur, technologist, or space science enthusiast, the world needs your ideas! This is your chance to experience, experiment, and explore solutions to our universe’s biggest challenges with many creative and passionate people from around the globe.
A.) About Space Apps Ajmer!
Space Apps Ajmer is extended to participants from all parts of Rajasthan. Registration is FREE and open to anyone in the age group of 18 and above for the Senior category and 13 to 17 for the Junior category. However, we don’t limit people from other age groups from taking part in this challenge too. You can either participate individually or in a group of a maximum of 6 members. All parts of the weekend hackathon will be conducted Virtually, some boot camps, workshops, meet and greet as well as the opening ceremony and closing ceremony will be conducted in Virtual mode. Various boot camps will be organized from September to October to help participants prepare for the challenge. The Hackathon will be launched on 30 September, and it will begin at 9 am on Saturday, October 1, and end at 11.59 pm on Sunday, October 2. The closing and award ceremony will take place on 8 October from 6 pm to 10 pm. Participants have a chance to receive a mystery swag pack from us!
This year, we are going to introduce a brand new gamification platform that allows more engagement and interaction between participants. We believe it will bring you an enjoyable experience throughout the journey!

B.) Take Part in The Largest Global Hackathon!
We are targeting coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and anyone who is interested in Earth and Space science to help solve the problems of our planet and the globe.
- Build a team;
- Choose one of NASA’s challenges;
- Start working on your project in a 2-day hackathon;
- Present it in front of the judges and get qualified for the international challenge.
C.) What is the theme of Space Apps for 2022?
This year’s event theme is Make SPACE, celebrating our motto of “there’s always space for one more." At Space Apps, we strive to eliminate barriers of access to space and science opportunities. Space Apps is for anyone and everyone!
