NASA Space Apps Almaty
On October 1-2, 2022 NASA is inviting coders, entrepreneurs, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, artists, and technologists to come together in a global hackathon. Over two days, participants from around the world will create in-person and virtual teams to solve challenges using NASA’s open-source data.
It’s a local Hackathon for innovators who are interested in space science and exploration. In this Hackathon, you can team up to develop creative solutions for the different challenges that face Earth and space, then get qualified to participate in the International Hackathon.
This year Makerspace Almaty is a local lead.
Makerspace Almaty is a project of U.S.Diplomatic Mission and Chevron company. Since 2017 every year Makerspace Almaty is conducting NASA Space Apps Challenge. Last year in 2021 two teams were nominated as a Global Nominees!
What is the theme of Space Apps for 2022?
This year’s event theme is Make SPACE, celebrating our motto of “there’s always space for one more." At Space Apps, we strive to eliminate barriers of access to space and science opportunities. Space Apps is for anyone and everyone!
Space Apps 2022 will take place October 1-2 offline at Makerspace!
