We are glad to host the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2022 edition at Jain (Deemed-to-be-University). We encourage students, teachers, programmers, coders, designers, scientists, space enthusiasts, and citizens to take part in the global-level Hackathon and be part of the experience. Register for the event, and ask your friends, colleagues, and family members to join the journey with you. The event is going to be an in-person event to be hosted at the School of Sciences.

School of Sciences (SOS) is one of the important components of Jain. With experienced faculty and state-of-the-art facilities, students are exposed to ideas and activities that motivate them to take up specialized areas of study. Currently, research programs are being conducted across 10 different academic fields including Astronomy & Astrophysics, and Space Sciences, with most researchers working on cross-disciplinary projects that involve students across UG, PG and Ph.D. programs.

It is my pleasure to inform you that Dr. Umamaheswaran, Distinguished Scientist & Director, Human Space Flight Centre, ISRO, Bengaluru has consented to inaugurate the Space Apps Challenge 2022 event. You are all invited to the inaugural session.

We will be having scientists/experts from different centers of ISRO join us offline/online to mentor all of the participants to hack the challenges. Along with that we also have mentors from multimedia, 3d printing, and arts domain joining us for the event.
