Coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, space enthusiasts and problem solvers:
Join us 1-2 Oct!
- Register for the Space Apps Universal Event by selecting the "Register" button on the right side of this page.
- Clear your diary for Saturday and Sunday 1 & 2 Oct 2022
- Once you’ve registered, keep an eye out in your Space Apps inbox for messages from me, John, your Bristol Local Lead. (Login to your account, and select “My Account” in the menu bar. You’ll see a link to “Communications” on the right-hand side.) I will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
- Log in the week prior to the hackathon to join the chat rooms and start forming teams.
Location(s)
There will be a virtual Bristol Hackathon for everyone that is able to take part. This will be hosted on Discord where you will be able to find new team partners (if you aren't already in a team) and work with your team (if you don't already have a virtual team space set up).
Your local leads will be on Discord throughout to help with any questions you may have.
We are hoping to have an in-person venue as well but are confirming details. This will be subject to public health conditions in Oct so may be subject to change at short notice.
YOUR LOCAL LEAD
My name is John! I run a local charity called DigiLocal here in Bristol and have been a Local Lead for the past 3 years. I’ll be your Bristol Event Local Lead for Space Apps 2022. I’ll be available from now until the end of the hackathon to help guide you through the journey, answer your questions, and connect you to resources.
As the hackathon nears, I'll let you know about upcoming dates and events! Starting in July, I'll also be sending messages to all Bristol Event participants through the Space Apps dashboard. Please check your Space Apps inbox for the latest news!
FIND ANSWERS
Find basic information to guide your Space Apps journey under the “Welcome” tab (above). You can also check out the Participant FAQ and other guides (on the chat rooms, team formation, and project submission), which will be posted soon. All of the guides will be posted on the Resource page.
