NASA Space Apps QATAR is more than happy hosting its local hackathon .

The International Space Apps Challenge is a two-day hackathon where teams of technologists, scientists, designers, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, developers and students across the globe collaborate and engage with publicly available data to design innovative solutions for global challenges. During the event, participants will organize into projects focused on solving a specific challenge.

NASA Space Apps Qatar is free you can create a team alone or with 2-5 people.

• Have free access to NASA’s open-source data.
• Discover NASA’s missions to Earth, sun, and out into space.
• Collaborate with other teams across borders.
• Build a team
• Choose one of NASA’s challenges
• Start working on your project in a 2-day hackathon
• Present it in front of the judges and get qualified for the international challenge

9:00 a.m Welcome and introduction to the challenge

12:00 am-22:00 p.m Team Formation & -Challenge Begins! Mentors support all day on line the participants

Sunday, October 2
13.00. Briefing & Update, work on progress with teams, last Touches
14:00 p.m. Submission support information

21:00p.m. Final Presentations( Pitch the teams present projects in a pitch of 5 minutes with support of on line slides and share screens).

22:00 p.m Judges Voting- Awards
