The NASA Space Apps Challenge is an international mass collaboration focused on space exploration that takes place over 48-hours in cities around the world. The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space...

Now in its 11th year, NASA Space Apps is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, entrepreneurs, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage with the NASA’s free and open data to creatively address real-world problems on Earth and in space. Since its inception in 2012, NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge has engaged 150,000+ people from 150+ countries to build innovative solutions to challenges we face. Space Apps is a NASA-led global initiative and the largest hackathon organized in collaboration with universities, schools, and industries. Please note 2022 NASA International Space Apps Challenge will be coming to you on October 1-2, 2022! You are cordially invited to join this exciting event!

The North America-Greater Huntsville Regional event will be hosted at Huntsville, AL--the Nation's famous "Rocket City", home of NASA Marshall Space Flight Center and numerous world-leading aerospace and high-tech industries.

Space Apps Huntsville will be hosted by Innovate Huntsville in the basement of the Times Building. The Times Building is on the corner of Greene Street and Homes Ave across the street from DGX (Dollar General) in Downtown Huntsville.
