NASA International Space Apps Challenge Kaiserslautern

The NASA Space Apps Challenge Kaiserslautern is one of the world's largest Hackathon events, which will be co-hosted by Kaiserslautern. This event also takes place in our region and we are inviting all scientists, participants, sponsors, companies, etc in order to make this event a real success. The event will take place on the 1st and 2nd of October from 10 AM to 5 PM respectively. Below is some key information necessary for the event.

WHERE

The event is Online and open to all participants. We are going to use ZOOM for hosting the Hackathon Challenge. It is important to also note regarding visitors to the event that our event will be live-streamed and it will be possible for anyone to watch the event from anywhere.

ACTIVITIES

  • Single participants or registered groups will choose and work on a challenge from a series of NASA Challenges that will be provided by us.
  • Work on the desired challenge for a defined period of time.
  • Companies who accepted to sponsor our event will have the opportunity to present their field of operations and talk about possible job opportunities for students.
  • Special Guests will give talks on specific relevant technological fields.

REWARDS

  • The winning team will be selected for Global Judging by NASA.
  • The two best teams of the NASA Space Apps Challenge Kaiserslautern will be rewarded by our team of Organizers and Sponsors.
  • Attestation of Participation for all registered participants will be awarded.
