NASA Space Apps MACE, Kothamangalam, India in collaboration with AISA MACE, the Space Club of Mar Athanasius College of Engineering headed by Mr Aravind Sekhar J B (NASA Space Apps Challenge Local Lead of Kothamangalam), cordially extend invitations for the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2022. We welcome you to witness and be a part of an engaging and remarkably growing community of space enthusiasts, scientists, technologists, coders and problem solvers. Have a glance and see how this community of space enthusiasts can build innovative and creative solutions when we collaborate with them to solve complex problems. This challenge is solely based on collaboration, critical thinking and creativity in fostering a keen interest in space-related matters and space exploration. The event will be conducted in one-to-one mode at Mar Athanasius College Of Engineering, Kothamangalam and virtually over the Google/Zoom meeting platforms. We anticipate that the physical meeting environment will provide impetus to new opportunities and collaborations in the ever-growing community.

About AISA:

Aerospace Interested Students Association(AISA) is the space club of Mar Athanasius College Of Engineering, Kothamangalam was founded with a vision to grow and nurture together in the field of space and its technologies. AISA focuses on helping its members to build a firm career in the field of space technology by bringing in the right exposure to nurture their young minds and be a guide for them to achieve their dreams. The club was formed by Miss Gadha Premdas and Mr Akhiljith A on the 21st of September 2019. The Club was officially inaugurated on the 17th of February 2022 by the most honourable and renowned Propulsion Scientist/Engineer at ISRO, Mr Kiran Mohan.

We are planning to conduct a virtual mode only for those who are unable to attend it in person. We recommend you attend the in-person event as more collaboration and exposure are gained through offline mode. Anybody irrespective of their location can form teams and participate in the virtual event and in-person events (if you can be present at the location).
