This is the first time that the NASA SPACE APP Challenge has listed Tegucigalpa, Honduras as one of its locations.
This event will take place in virtual mode, on October 1 - 2, 2022.
During these days you will have the opportunity to present your projects based on technology and space sciences.
The local leader of the Space App Challenge in Tegucigalpa, Honduras is our little scientist Andre Mejia, 6 years old, he is a boy who loves space and has a great curiosity to know more and more about it.
Andre has a team of collaborating professionals (Mechatronics, Electrical and Industrial Engineers) who will help him lead this event and evaluate your proposals.
Andre's message: The Hondurans have great potential, many children do not have the chance to go to school or learn more about space, I want to help more children from Honduras to participate in these events, which in the future I can create a space school in Honduras.

El líder local del Space App Challenge en Tegucigalpa, Honduras es nuestro pequeño científico Andre Mejia, de 6 años, es un niño que ama el espacio y tiene una gran curiosidad por saber más y más sobre él.
Andre cuenta con un equipo de profesionales colaboradores (Ingenieros Mecatrónicos, Eléctricos e Industriales) que lo ayudarán a liderar este evento y evaluar sus propuestas.
Mensaje de Andre: Los Hondureños tenemos un gran potencial, muchos niños no tienen las posibilidades de ir a una escuela o de conocer mas sobre el espacio, yo quiero ayudar a que mas niños de Honduras puedan participar en estos eventos, que en un futuro yo pueda crear una escuela espacial en Honduras.
