We are thrilled to announce that Wichita was selected as one of the local locations to host NASA's Space Apps Challenge 2022. It will be held 'In-person' and we would like to invite you to demonstrate your talent to the world through innovation, creativity, and storytelling.
The theme of challenges this year is "Make Space" which celebrates inclusivity. At Space Apps, there's always space for more.

NIAR ATLAS staff had the pleasure of hosting NASA Space Apps Challenge this weekend. Teams of Whchita State University student and local industry worked tirelessly for two days non-stop during this hackathon to complete their projects with the support of mentors from Dassault Systèmes, NIAR, and Spirit AeroSystems. First two winning teams from local selection will visit Dassault Systèmes US HQ in Massachusetts (all expense paid trip, thanks to Dassault Systèmes!!!); others received Apple AirPods, gift cards, and many exciting prices.
